This gem is a combination stone. Apophyllite is a phyllosilicate, with a mohs hardness of 4.5-5. Stilbite is a tectosilicate, with a mohs hardness of 3.5-4. Due to the composition of this gem it is not advised to let it soak for long periods of time.
