Stalactite Fairy Quartz is a combination stone, of calcium carbonate and Quartz, and has an external Mohs hardness of 7. Due to its composition there are a few tips for its care. This gems calcium carbonate based core was formed in water, however water has the potential to damage this gem over time. So it is best to avoid it all together. Opt to use a dry cloth or brush to clean away dust and debris.
